Orange you glad I’m not a banana?!

Orange you glad I’m not a banana?! Afternoon pick me ups for your second chakra… Eat something orange: clementines, oranges.
Drink something orange: tea infused with oranges, a fresh cold-pressed juice with mango, orange and carrot.
Smell something orange: inhale orange or bergamot essential oil and feel instantly energized!
The second chakra is our passion and pleasure center and governs our emotions, senses, intimacy, creativity, and connection. A balanced second chakra allows us to express our creativity, form deep, intimate relationships, and pursue our passions. An imbalanced sacral chakra can lead to many disturbances, including commitment issues, stifled creativity, lack of drive, lack of confidence, depression, back pain, and urinary/reproductive issues.

Sound Healing sessions with Pandora

Sound healing with Pandora

Everything in the Universe, including ourselves, is composed of energy and vibration. When we become sick or stressed, the vibration of our minds, energy fields and bodies are disrupted. The potential to get out of sync comes from within ourselves – our thought patterns – and outside ourselves – think about all the noise, toxins and negativity that overwhelm us every day as we move through our lives. Sound healing leads us back to our natural state of harmony, within ourselves and with the world around us.

Pandora is a Certified Crystal Healing Practitioner led by her medical intuitive wisdom to re-tune your imbalance using a combination of crystals, essential oils and tuning forks that are tuned to the ancient Solfeggio frequencies traditionally used in sacred music and Gregorian chant.

The sound vibration slows our brain waves and calms the nervous system – the more relaxed our minds can be, the more our bodies can repair and reboot.

Everyone’s experience is unique, every time! We tend to take what we need from each sound healing and may come away alive and tingling or relaxed and sleepy. Some of the common things people experience are: sleeping very deeply and soundly, feeling more connected to the world around them, going into a deep state of meditation, experiencing colors and images, feeling more creative, receiving wisdom or inspiration about their lives, releasing old thoughts that are weighing them down and finding relief from a physical issue such as back pain. 20180617_131151-0142492763_2174504309471887_414309604982259712_n

Joyful!

Joyful. When I’m connected to my joyful presence, I attract support from the Universe.

My joyful toolkit today includes amazonite, apple aura quartz, Brighten Joy Blend essential oil and a deck of oracle cards.
One of my favorite things is taking a few moments before I start my day, setting an intention (today is to be joyful) gathering tools to support me like crystals, essential oil and cards. Having a toolbox to support your day is essential!

What intention did you set today? What tools did you gather? .

You are responsible for your actions, reactions and what you are bringing into your relationships.

I know this concept isn’t the easiest to fully take in but, it’s the truth.

If you want to change your life, look within first.

If you want to change your relationships (family, friendships, and love), look within first.

It is a powerful thing to take responsibility for your part in the dis-ease you are feeling in life.

I am here to help you clear the old thoughts and patterns so that you can have an abundant life!

“Remember, the moment you accept total responsibility for everything in your life is the moment you claim the power to change anything in your life.”~ Hal Elrod

Live in the moment

alex-machado-435966-unsplashWhat I have found in my life is that signs are popping up everywhere! Being mindful and living in the moment is something that is easier than it sounds.

The world we live in is plugged in – meaning that we are all dependent on some form of electronic device, be it phone, laptop, TV, etc. We find it easy to focus on those things but, when it comes to focusing on the sights, sounds, people in our surroundings, sometimes it is difficult because we are so distracted.

Try shifting your focus, becoming aware of the small signs that happen daily that are placed in your path to remind you of something. Shifting your focus is as easy as choosing to put your phone in your pocket or turning off your podcast or music. Thinking of life as a big treasure hunt – seeking clues, putting them together. Allowing yourself to be guided by these clues to a better life is what it is all about.

Last week, I decided to do an experiment. I had some time before an appointment, and rather than go to the same cafe that I usually do, I stopped walking and took a breath. As I released that breath, I asked myself what I really wanted to do. I decided to go in a completely different direction because it felt right. As I walked, not knowing where I was headed, I ran into a friend I hadn’t seen in about two years! I was pulled in that direction to have that experience! Had I followed my pattern and not been mindful, I would have missed the opportunity to reconnect with someone the Universe put in my path!

We might even find a feather or a penny, even a message from Heaven to remind us that we are a part of something much bigger than this Earth. Summer is a great time to unplug from electronics for a bit (even 5 minutes a day will start the practice of mindfulness) and see what the Universe is showing you!

Count Your Blessings

Count your blessings – it’s what I was taught as a child, you probably were, too.

In the world we live in, social media has become our public journal a space to share and purge.

Unfortunately, in the process of purging, the spotlight remains on the negative.

Where is the positive?? Where Is the mindfulness? Where is the gratitude? Tell me something good!

How to be your own Best Friend

We have all experienced changes in life that leave us feeling lonely. Here are a few situations that can make you feel all alone: passing of a loved one, breakup of a relationship, ending of a friendship, loss of a job, the list can go on and on.

When transition times like these occur, they trigger a new way of living. It is extremely important not to focus on what you don’t have, but instead, focus on what you do have- YOURSELF! After all, who really knows what you need better than you?

andre-mouton-744482-unsplashSometimes we look to others to make us feel happy and we are left feeling abandoned or misunderstood. If we become our own best friends, we will never feel loneliness again.

A good starting point is to make a list of what you are missing in your life. On the opposite side of the page, make a list of the ways you can fulfill these voids. Get creative!

If you are missing going on dates, then plan a self-date! There is no need for you to wait on someone, because you can go out and have fun by yourself. A trip to your favorite cafe can be made into a special event if you take that book with that you’ve been meaning to finish. Or, go on a walk and listen to music that brings you back to a happy time in your life. Embrace good memories!

We often treat our best friend to gifts, but it is time to give yourself gifts! A new crystal for your home, bath salts, an aromatherapy diffuser, or fresh flowers are all good ways to bring joy into your home and remind you how deserving you are of your own love.

When our best friend is sick, we often make them soup or their favorite food to show that we care. We can, and should, do the same for ourselves. Self-care is so important! Don’t wait for someone to be there to cook an awesome meal for you -do it yourself.

What other things can you do to be your own best friend? Share your ideas!
